About Denbighshire Weather
Denbighshire Weather is a free, local weather site built for people who live in, work in, or visit Denbighshire.
What this site is for
The aim is simple: clear, practical weather information for everyday decisions, from school runs and commuting to coastal days and hill walks.
Most pages are bilingual (English/Welsh). A small amount of emergency signposting may appear in English only where that is how the official updates are published.
Coverage
Forecasts and local context are focused on Denbighshire only, including the following towns and villages:

Data and accuracy
Denbighshire Weather uses reputable, free-to-access data sources and presents them in a more local, readable way.
Like all weather services, forecasts are estimates. Use official warnings and guidance for safety-critical decisions.

Frequently asked questions
Where do the forecasts come from?
Forecasts come from Open-Meteo, which uses the forecast models of national weather services. Rain radar comes from RainViewer, and warnings come from the Met Office and Natural Resources Wales.
How often is it updated?
Forecasts refresh every hour, the rain radar every 10 minutes and warnings every half hour.
Does it cover my village?
The site covers 24 towns and villages across Denbighshire. Search for yours at the top of any page, or choose the nearest town if it isn’t listed. Weather can change over short distances, especially in the hills.
Why is it different from my phone’s weather app?
Weather apps use different forecast models and different points on the map, so they rarely agree exactly, especially about when rain will arrive. This site forecasts for the centre of each town.
How reliable are days 8 to 10?
Less reliable than the first week. They show the likely trend rather than exact figures, which is why the 10-day forecast marks them as a trend.
Is the site available in Welsh?
Yes. Use the EN / CY switch at the top of any page, and the site will remember your choice.
Is it free?
Yes. There are no adverts, accounts or tracking cookies.
Where can I check official flood warnings?
Natural Resources Wales publishes flood alerts and warnings for Wales, and Floodline is on 0345 988 1188. The Today page on this site shows any that affect your area.
